78 Cadillac Eldorado at the Florida State Line on I-75

I drove this classic from Cincinnati, Ohio to Ocala Florida on April 18 - 19, 2009. I left on the 18th, in the morning, and spent the night in Calhoun, Ga, and arrived at the state line at about 6:30 pm on the 19th.

This video shows the first few minutes of driving into Florida beginning at the state line. If you look closely, at the beginning, you'll see mile marker 0, which represents the true state line, as that marker begins the mile count heading north into Georgia. Next, you'll see a "Welcome to Florida" road sign.

The car has a 4 1/2" foot long hood, and that's why it takes up a considerabe portion of the video screen.

Well, when I started out, a scant 33,500. When I ended up at my destination in Fl, about 34,300.
