2/26/10 Tragic Lexus 911 Call

The Lastrella family has put up a memorial fund in the memory of their four loved ones that died in a tragic car crash last august. The car--a Lexus--was part of a massive Toyota recall. That's soo sad. I can't imagine what that would be like. I would have been so afraid of killing other people rather than myself. I hope they are at peace. I can't believe the comments on blaming the car maker. It could have been any car that had a glitch and caused something like this. Humans learn from other people's deaths so thank these souls for possibly making your future car safer.

The lexus has a ( pcm ) powertrain control module and the gear shifter is just a switch, there is no cable just wires and when the computer sees a ( wot ) wide open throttle IT WONT LET YOU SHIFT OUT OF DRIVE OR INTO NEUTRAL OR INTO PARK the car was a death trap and the driver was a California highway patrol officer, not your average idiot toyota owner. The brakes cooked ( heat faded ) and the car ignored all user imputs. Just like tepco the fukushima disaster toyota lies while people die.
