Four diseases have broken out in the world and it is up to a team of specialists in various fields to find cures for these diseases before mankind is wiped out.

In Pandemic, players must work together, playing to their characters' strengths and planning their strategy of eradication before the diseases overwhelm the world with ever-increasing outbreaks. But the diseases are outbreaking fast and time is running out: the team must try to stem the tide of infection in diseased areas while also towards cures.

Got this recently and just soloed it to learn the game - I lost!

It is a game you can solo even though it says 2-4 players on the box.

Having said that it is a great game!

i have played this in my maths class

it is very difficult to complete, and do not think with the more players the easier it is to complete, as all 5 of us noticed. very good game though incredibly fun

Thanks. Nice snappy review this. I think I might be tempted by this game. Thinking of playing it with a couple of nine year olds and 45 mins is a little on the long side but we shall see.
