Of course it will, not saying that Droid will single-handedly do it, but yes the iPhone will eventually fall. Open doesn't CURRENTLY rules tech, because of companies like Apple and MS, but again, it will eventually. It makes innovation much easier and faster. I trust it because I trust people to make faster and better flavors of current tech, instead of reinventing the wheel everyone wants to make a new phone OS (in the case of Android).

how do u figure that open source rules the tch? open source is like a empty abandoned house that anyone can get into. im not saying that its not secure im just saying how can u trust something thats free and open to anyone and everyone?

Droid is coming out in 2 weeks or so. Don't waste your time, money.

Android has more than 10,000 so far.
