Onboard GoPro RC Cessna on Floats Lake Tapps WA.

Test flight with the added weight of the GoPro. Although the camera is only 7oz with the water proof case, it is a little too heavy for this plane as I needed lots of runway and up trim. Also the engine had a few hickups, probably water in the fuel from the last dunking it took.

I know, I wanted that view too but with the added weight of the floats I had to keep the camera centered and on the CG.

Nice video. I sometimes have to use the ailerons to break one float free at a time, just tip the plane one way a little to break the surface tension. I find the smoother the water the harder it is to take off. I also found the gopro a little heavy but the video quality is really good.

you should put Go Pro on a float, that view is awesome.
