  • ahhh... this anime..... brings back memories...... but for some reason I could never get myself to like the cousin of the male protagonist (she had a romantic interest in the male protagonist too, that one)..... and yeah it was REALLY gorey (don't think I've ever seen as gorey an anime since and it's been a couple of years since I've seen it)........

  • When I saw those three boys killing that innocent dog.......I WAS MADE LIKE HELL that I squeezed my hands to fist's "You know who isn't human..you know who isn't human....PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!!" To this day I still remember Lucy's first murders..........uuuuuuuugh 0_0

  • This is my favorite Latin symphony/melody. I have fallen asleep to the full version of this song countless times :) It's so beautiful and so serene.

  • lol i know nun of you guy listening to this might not know latin but if you thick bout it its kind of religious like catholic or christian. cuz the begining is" os iusti meditabitur sapientiam, et lingua eius loquteur indicium" which translates to " the mouth of the just shall meditate wisdom, and his tongue shall speak jugdement" that sound a lil religious. thats why it an awsome op!!!

  • this manga (which is miles better than the anime btw) made me so damn sad and made me cry, but it's one of the most amazing, beautiful mangas i've ever read.

  • We protect those who are endeared to us. thus, that love, can sow the seeds of sorrow, in turn, with its tears eclipsed upon the world, a tree of hatred is born. Its roots entwined to those who it can ensnare. Lucy was an example, of human hubris, catharsis.. ignorance & a righteous ideal. We question the cruelties of humanity within the framework of this art, do we, i ask, question the cruelties of the ever present world? In which this art was crafted upon.. how many lucy`s are there in reality

  • @ApepItsirk33 In hindsight, your measured words, can be applauded for their just meaning. Yet in truth, do we, as individuals of society, blame the murderer, or the society, who created that individual? In turn, do we, give measured thought to that paradox, and act upon it? If not, then Lucy, her nightmare will forever continue. For is it not fear, that drives us all.

  • This anime makes me depressed. But I like it anyways :D

  • Guuhhhhh <3

Such a great anime. Lovely song.

  • Elfen Lied is a good example of humanity.

  • If I was in that Anime I wouldn't act like that to Lucy. I would actually help her, comfort her, so she has a friend. Her whole killer impulses were due to damn hatred and pain that she went through. Now society realized that the pain that they inflicted on her was simply FUEL... FUEL POURED ONTO THEIR BODIES. AND ALL IT NEEDS IS A SPARK! That is what Lucy was... that spark of vengeance and wrath.

Remember. Humanity was the true monster, because they were the ones that caused her act this way

  • The manga for this made me sob at the end.... it was so sad.
