I'm a middle aged white Republican female, and I think Barack Obama is the most impressive American politician in my lifetime. I would proudly vote for him no matter what party he was from. I know lots of Republicans who feel this way. The older you get, the more you judge people on their merit.

This is so true....I lived around the corner from Mr Obama's office on the South Side of Chicago. He could have had a fancy office anywhere but he chose to stay in a regular community among regular people and his office was always open for people to just walk in...he is a just a good person
