Aired: Mar 6th 2011 Courtesy: 60 Minutes This clip really touched me, so i had to share it. Usually it is the Children that Suffer because of our Greedy, and Selfish System. This is why i advocate a new direction a better way of doing things, A Resource Based Economy.
@2011rosarot The states can are free to set up any kind of care that they wish to. The federal government is awful at money and the states do a better (though nothings perfect and waste exists) job dollar for dollar. The states waste less money and they would be better equipped to deal with and needed welfare or help in this area. Poor people and social workers and politicians in the states would decide how this is done, not Uncle Sam. Paul has been slandered and misquoted on this.
@TheCorrectViews, so you must be one of those people who would voluntarily give a lot of money to charity. But what about the truly selfish, greedy people? In your opinion, these people should feel in no way obliged to give anything for helping the weak and poor....they should have the freedom to be as selfish and greedy as they want...because that is freedom. Is my understanding of Ron Paul's views on this matter correct?
Just remember, us Ron Paul fans are NOT against welfare. We are against the government being in charge of it. The states and private institutions do a better and more efficient job.
Maybe we could consider a money- and propertyless society with access to everything for everyone...? Simply sharing instead of trading...? Collaborating instead of competing...? Simply utilize our common goal, in making this world work for all? Have you hear about a resource based economy? Search it.
I lost my house last year, but that is nothing compared to losing your childhood, or seeing your children having to go through this. This story makes me mad, sad, and frustrated! I support the protest of Wall Street 100%.
AN OUTRAGE!! Yet "our" L O U S Y government gives so much money to foreign countries.
