Google's problem is that they try to not be evil while treating their engineers like kings without trying to build any bridges of responsibility between the two. Evil is an inevitable result of power without responsibility.

For usability it's alright. Recently my MSIE had problems uploading videos right when Chrome did not.
For management it sucks ass. Who the fuck puts executables in Documents and Settings? Oh, want to move your cache directory to a different partition? Surprise. There's no settings file. It's all command line options. So you'll potentially get completely different results depending on which shortcut you use to start it.
