I was pissed off that this didn't win. Everyone kept saying that Slumdog had an "earthly" sound to it; unless the rocks were the ones singing; I couldn't even HEAR the music at all throughout "Slumdog Millionaire".

Fuck the bollywood bullshit jay ho lick my nuts indians.. this deserved the win.. It had a beautiful melodic movement throughout and had one of the best openings i have ever heard in a short instrumental piece... jai ho had fucking lobbyists behind it.. stupid ass masses....all the cunts in the morning news shows dancing bollywood style for a news story can fuck themselves...

Yeah i totally agree. Wall-E's sound music and mixing surpased all of the titles at the oscars. Ben Burtt Is brilliant. I agree with what people have said about looking past it because it is an animated film. Most people probably didn't even watch Wall-E and didn't hear the magical music. You can clearly hear that Wall-E's piece is the most moving and beautiful out of all the music played. Hands down, it should have slapped Slumdog Millionaire right in the face for any kind of sound awards.
