I'm guessing you were being sarcastic?
If you were, I'll just say again that this is in fact a big deal. Realism goea out the window. The shot in the video should have been about twice as hard in real life. The ball is not only pushed forward by the boot impacting, but at the same time it bounces off the boot since the ball isn't a rock but flexes with impacts. Also worth mentioning that this wasn't present in PES5 which had alot more credible shot speeds and such.

No no, you are misunderstanding me.
The ball model flexing would be insanity on a PS2. :)
My point is that the ball has the same speed as the foot just after the shot is taken. The toe of the boot even touches the ball as the foot moves forward. My point is that the ball speed for shots in PES is absurdly slow, since in reality the ball would bounce off the foot, and thus have more speed than the boot that hit it.
