@PGMEagle So true. My coworkers and I were discussing this the other night as I was eating a bag of vegetables and they were eating McDonalds. Their argument is that since healthy (organic, free-range, etc.) food is expensive to produce, then it would therefore be impossible to sell at a reasonable price. And they are absolutely right. Then again, this is the land of innovation. If the demand ever becomes overwhelming, some entrepreneur will find a way to make it happen.
Very very good point Old. Junk food is cheaper then eating healthy. Look at McDonalds comming up with the dollar menu for people in poverty. Just to eat more procesed junk at an afordable price.
I think the greed of corporations and the FDA are also the reason why Most of the US population is obese. The Fast Food industry pumps billions in advertising and even going so far as to give our chldren happy meals with a toy inside to intise them to eat there junk food. Yes I know it's your choice wether or not your going to eat that junk all the time, but it's all for sales as far as the corportations go. If you get obese oh well.
It isn't really about obesity. The bigger problem is that type 2 diabetes has become epidemic among people under 20. Growing by the year. Destroys your kidneys, heart, blood vessels nerves, etc. Costs the country billions of dollars. Hard to reverse. Yeah, it is what's on the inside. The fact that you're fat is not the bad part. So keep on eating those Cap'n Crunch
@Silentonion Every month is not "all the time" That's a healthy indulgence. Think about it that means your only eating it 12 times a year. I know a lot of obese people who go to McDonalds or BK 3 or 4 times a week
And I'm healthy, very healthy. I exercise, when im not eating McDonald's im eating vegetables and fruits:)
