  • I want to say this song has an air of somber nobility

  • So I am teaching myself how to play this melody lol.... but sadly on the flute. If I get really bored, Ill transpose it and let one of my friends try and play it on trumpet lol. (Its really really easy)

  • You know you're an otaku cause you stand during the National Anthem to Macross Plus.. lol

  • @lonwoogmail Its a trumpet. And yes it is amazing... I only wish the quality was better...

  • @agdragoon Amen to that.

  • What instrument is that at the start? A french horn? So awesome.

  • @revolt1915 Well put. Music can definitely have that power.

  • *Salutes during the entire song*

  • @MisterFanwank Yeah, perhaps I was a little overzealous when I typed that. I was caught up by the fact that this recording was an international endeavour which is appreciated around the world. I guess the best way to rephrase it would be that music has the power to bridge cultural gaps and form bonds brought about by a shared loved of a medium and a style.

  • @MisterFanwank I never did said that songs are 'universal language', as those who can't understand the meaning the song brings cannot understand what it's trying to tell us. But at least the emotions singers and/or composers use for is pretty much summed up feelings the song give. But yeah, it's not a universal language.
