Revenge of Shinobi video game (Genesis) - Speed run - Part 1

Alright standard game, I'm a ninja, fighting ninjas and samurai with attack dogs okay. Wait they have demon wings now? Street fighters that can block shurikens with their feet? Soldiers? Nuns that turn into ninjas!?!!? Is that the terminator?

Lol I wish I picked up on how ridiculous the story is when I was kid, it would've have made this game that much more fun to play!

How do you flip through the air and throw multiple shuriken?

jump n then when youre almost midair press jump again (sort of tap..tap) then press the shuriken button an youll do the shuriken spray attack. just practice it n youll get the hang of it.

hi how do you use the sword? because i always try to slay with the sword n just a short dagger comes out...W

the sword is a powerup, you know you have it when you walk with a blocking position (at anything thrown at you)

you can only use the sword when you collect the powerup icon and then he'll strike with it when youre close to the enemy. hope it helps :)

One of the best Genesis launch games.

I clearly abused of the 2 doubles lives trick to max my lives,

the last level maze drove me crazy,

I didn't know at that time that having Spiderman and Batman was a breach of copyrights,

I felt bad when the concrete ceiling crushed the hero's girlfriend but I managed to get the good ending also...

I used the infinite shuriken trick but playing with none is even more fun + plus you get a massive point bonus if you don't use any.

yeah.. it saves to the cartridge
