It was obvious she was going to die, there was limited food and water, and there was no way to safely and controlably reenter something into the atmopshere. what proably happened is the radio or antante went out, and when the food and water ran out, that was it, either the module burned up in renetry or she died in space and renentered

Would you be so concerned over a cockroach? Or perhaps a snake? Any living thing that isn't cuddly and cute will do. I doubt it.

Laika paved the way for our kind to explore the heavens. I am glad to see she has a monument in Moscow now. Her name is also on a monument in Star City along with other Russian cosmonauts killed while on missions. I am glad that today, she is more and more becoming a household name, still though more people need to learn of her. As far as I am concerned, everyone should have a picture of her up on their walls, along with the other canine heroes whom ushered in the world we live in today.

I'm sorry, but you have misinterpreted my movie. I have created this trailer out of great affection and strong empathy for Laika. I spent two years researching her life and her historic space mission and wrote the "Screwed Pooch" book because I felt the world needed to hear her story. I hope you will go to Amazon and read some sample pages - maybe you'll see things differently then.
