A Medical Critique of the Dunn and Crowder "Pee Pee Miracle"

This video shows a miracle that if true, the person who received it would have been dead a long time ago. I asked a friend about this, he happens to be a medical doctor, I knew the answer - most rational people would. However, for some technical input, here is the question with the answer:

I asked this question: "What would happen to a person if they couldn't pee/urinate at all for 6-months? I know, it sounds odd, but so is the movement I am blogging about."

Here is his answer:

Hi Sean.... with regards to your first question - if someone doesn't urinate for 6 months usually they are dead. The bottom line is - they either have a urinary outlet obstruction or their kidneys have completely failed and make no urine at all. In the former case, obstruction will lead to renal failure due to the increased back pressure on the system. Anyhow, without intervention - renal failure and inability to urinate will lead to volume overload in your entire body as well as multiple electrolye abnormalities the most common is elevated serum potassium which often leads to fatal cardiac arrhythmias. ...perhaps he did what math's teachers do when they have constapation.

-they work it out with a pencil!

There are ways of getting relief, even though the system doesn't work properly.

I'm glad someone checked into this. I'm not in the medical profession, but I had my serious doubts about this claim when I first heard it.

On another note, these guys (Crowder and Dunn) are a magnet for the immature. Their followers are churning out videos by the hundreds, and their content is becoming more and more preposterous and foolish by the day.

I concur, I already knew the answer before I asked it of the medical friend. Death! you and I, and anyone who is reasonable knows that answer. But I wanted to put some weight behind it. Glad you enjoyed the vid.

When was the last time you really felt God/? you may learn something from him, and that is how to reach for him and feel him like you are supposed to, dont be a dead christian because you are not so different from a pharise if you just worship with your reason.

Yes, two miracles! You criticize what others are doing to spread the love of jesus to the world? What did Jesus do? Preached a Gospel of power, then displayed it. He said, "I go back to my Father, an will send a helper, Holy Spirit. Then you go and greater works will you do because I go to my Father (...and you are here now with the help of Holy Spirit indwelt for the first time because of the finished work of the cross.) Read Acts, the disciples were "whacked" after that thought to be drunk!

Wow, so not only did the guy get healed of his peeing problem, but God also kept the guy alive for six months when he should have been dead. Two miracles!!! Holy is the Lamb!!!
