@MacGovernor but it is NOT true that Schumacher won his titles just BECAUSE of a superior car. It is true that Schumacher and Ferrari performed the best cars for 2-3 years. But in their first world championship season (2000) McLaren had the best car, and in 2003 the had too, but they didn't managed it well. Further, Schum was NEVER only addicted to a superior car - in opposide to Button/BGP in 2009. And when he had, he was driving all others into the grind.

@MacGovernor well Button won his title 2009 cuz he had a superior car. Brawn GP had the adventage of the double diffusor for the first seven races from wich they pulled out six wins. Button and BGP/MGP were never more such lucky at that time. But, it's true that Schumacher didn't came up on podium since he came back. And it's also true that Button won the last race rightly cuz he really was the fastest man. He really impressed me. Maybe his career is just starting now. Will he change to Ferrari?

If he had a superior car, Why did he score 92points with the Benetton in 1994. And the other 3 drivers (Verstappen,Lehto,Herbert ) did only average 11p....and not a single race-win.

Why did he manage to qualify first with the crapy-Ferrari in Monte Carlo 1996? A car that would not make it top-3 on the papers! His teammate qualified 7th....

1. The very first time Michael tested an F-1 car in 1991 (Jordan) his laptimes were faster in comparison to the former drivers the team-engineer thought something must have been changed on the circuit!

2. Jody Scheckter (1979 Champ) explains the legible rules about number-1 driver. The fastest pilot always end up as the favourite by mechanics & engineers. If someone was continually faster then Schumacher in the Ferrari team =they would be no 1 instead
