Bart Connor, Kurt Thomas, Mitch Gaylord, Tim Daggett, Jim Hartung, Peter Vidmar, Scott Johnson. I had these guys plastered all over my high school locker (back in the 80s). How cool to see this video. Thanks

Hey Mitch! Remember my brother Joe Abell at Stephen S. Wise Temple? And we did that musical at the temple when you were about 14 years old - Joe played piano, I turned pages, and YOU PLAYED THE DRUMS!!! I bet few people know about your musical talent as well as your gymnastics accomplishments!!!! Hope you're well!

Olympic star Mitch Gaylord making the highbar flip now named after him (Gaylord II) clinched the team gold for Team USA... and these guys made US gymnastics history. It was the gymnastic equivalent of the Lake Placid US hockey team's victory over the USSR.
