  • @ProveYourFaith nothing to try, its up for all to see.^^

  • @ServiceProcess How many Mormon PHD's are there are they all right? How about PHD's in Islam are they all right?

  • @bloodhoundHermetic (Psa 89:6 KJV) For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty (el) can be likened unto the LORD?

Sorry but you are wrong. The mighty el here do not compare to YHWH. el is not a distinction between the most high and false Gods. there are other examples as well.

    Try again.

  • @ProveYourFaith As you say, Mightily wrong!, El is Mighty , usage: Similar to and in compariosn with El-ohim ,or El-Shaddai.El Elyong-distinguishes the supreme God from false Gods.El Gibbor specifically is used to describe YAH_eh in Jeremiah 32:18,Isaiah 10:20 and not a mighty muscular body builder.

    Faith proven..

  • @tudungsenduk same meaning.

  • @ProveYourFaith

Now you are using Gibbor as an adjective. Yes. mighty strong man or mighty hero, that I would agree.

However the verb is still active not passive.

  • @tudungsenduk No Gibbor means strong Man El means Mighty or great. el Gibbor means Mighty strong man. Gibbor el means Strong man of might.

  • oops one more thing.

vaiyikra is active not passive ie "he shall call" not "he will be called".

  • Disagree.

You are actually translating "Gibbor El" not "El Gibbor" and you are using Gibbor as a noun. However I can agree if you translate it as "power(El) of a mighty one(Gibbor)".

Aviad in the MT is a name(one word), however in the DSS in means "Father of Eternity".

Father as King is your right of interpretation.

  • @markpaghi No. I hear this all the time from the JW's who foolishly shun education !!(a wise move !!).

Wisdom is from God THROUGH colleges and Phd's and the bible, and friends, and pastors, and workmates ....

You don't understand how God works.
