River is not the dr's wife. too obvious. she could be amys child. jenny might be back. shes a time lord/lady. her children would be able to regenerate. and if its the drs grandchild who has been kidnapped. watch out. that would bring down his ire on all of those aliens. they wouldn't know what hit them. name is said to be melody pond. changes it to hide her identity from the dr and amy. Who knows? Anythings possible. We, in the U.S find out the second sat in june.

Forget trying to figure out the so-called mysteries! When are people going to figure out there is no mystery! Moffat sucks! The second half of series 6 will be taking place before the events of the first half. So now Moffat is resorting to childish gimmicks. And River will be the wife. And she was the one inside the suit! Moffat doesn't really write mysteries. He just writes ultra-cliched ultra-predictable stories and then tries to pretend that there's this great big mystery.

@VERITASERUMUK Yeah, I heard that too. Still, that means this lame storyline will be dragged out for almost 4 yrs. Enough is enough! River was a bad idea from the start. Now its a space opera. Its suppose to be an action adventure show. The occasional romance is fine but not a wife. Especially one that makes one to punch in the face everytime she shows up.

@sallyjosie According to a recent news report there will be part of Series 7 shown next year but they are going to split it again. Half in 2012 and the other half in 2013 in order to lead up to the 50th anniversary :D

@2012smartypants BAD NEWS! Steve Moffat is KING of the obvious! Of course the fat ugly whore is his wife. Otherwise moffat couldn't turn this once great show into a full-blown soap opera. And of course River is the one inside the spacesuit! Again, anything else would be a surprise and Moffat is having none of that. Oh but he is doing one thing: Life, Doctor Who & Combom: BBC One Controller Says No Full Series of Doctor Who for 2012; Series 7 D. Yeah, NO DOCTOR WHO NEXT YEAR! Good job moffat
