Sweet Silver Lining (Part 12/ FINALE)

"Before I bound these two in holy matrimony, does anyone object? Speak now or forever hold your peace," said Paul. I gasped and looked at Joe, who started to chuckle. I looked out in the crowd and everyone started to laugh.

"Not funny, Joe."

"Aww, you know I'm kidding." I looked at Paul, who was grinning at the two of us.

"You know I'm kidding, Amber. Anyways, in that case, let's continue!" Everyone chuckled and I just simply blushed. I looked at Joe as he took my hands and looked at me. "Joseph Adam Jonas, do you take Amber Rachael Black to be your lawfully wedded wife; to have and to hold in sickness and in health; for richer or poorer, til death do you part?" Joe grinned and nodded.

"Of course I do." I chuckled and then I glanced at Paul, who was smiling at us.

"Amber Rachael Black, do you take Joseph Adam Jonas to be your lawfully wedded husband; to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, til death do you part?" I looked at Joe and grinned.

"I do a million times." Joe glowed and then I grinned back at him.

"Now, with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife...finally. Joe, my son, you may kiss your bride." Joe took two steps towards me, put one hand on my back, one on the back of my head and finally kissed me...DIPPING ME DOWN?!?! Claps erupted from the guests and the wedding party as I smiled in the kiss and he pulled me up into standing position. "Ladies and gentlemen! I'm proud and honored to present to you, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adam Jonas!" And everyone launched to their feet as I looked at Joe. I took his hand and my bouquet from Bella as 'Today Was a Fairytale' started to play. He looked at me as we walked down the aisle and kept kissing my head. We reached the end of the aisle and kept walking a little bit more into the field so we had a moment to ourselves.

"I love you so much, Mrs. Amber Jonas."

"I love you so much too, Mr. Joseph Jonas." I threw my arms around his neck and then kissed him with so much love.

And, at that moment, I realized I was kissing the one man that I have always loved; the one I was spending the rest of my life with; the one that didn't put all of his happiness in me. He was Joe. He was my true love. And that, my friends, made me realize that everything DOES happen for a reason.
