This is kind of similar as to a design I started ions ago. Rather than on/off with the electro magnet, You need to reverse polarity.. maybe your doing that and I missed it.

@TheWorldiLivein The guy explained a few posts down he built it to test a type of switch his company produces for doors. They needed a way to put 1 million cycles worth of wear and tear on the switch, so he rigged up this machine to stress test the switches.

I Like it. But, just a thought, a single 555 with one transistor to drive a reed relay wold make a nice future project for you.

Just a suggestion but I would put some details in the comments section of your video with a brief explanation of what you are doing and why.  This will help prevent some of the idiotic comments below from people who don't realize your not trying to reinvent the wheel, the switch or something silly like a perpetual motion machine. Alternatively, if you just want to post his for someone you know to see, and don't want comments, I would turn off comments all together. Good test method though.
