During the ancient times of Israel, the Huppah was the special room built onto the bridegrooms fathers house, where the bride was brought at the end of the betrothal period. The original Hebrew meaning for huppah is a room or to cover with garlands, symbolic of the laurel wreath worn by the bride and groom during the marriage ceremony. Over the centuries, the huppah has taken on many forms including, a tallith or prayer shawl drapedrnover the couples heads, to a huppah made entirely of flowers. rnWhen Moses received the Torah as a Ketubbah for the marriage between God and Israel at Mount Sinai, we are given the biblical account of the Huppah.
The whole pattern of the jewish wedding is fulfilled in the Feasts to come- the Rapture is the fulfillment of Jesus coming to take His Bride home and He will come soon!!!
