and i meant Boss wasn't skinny in the series .. he was short & fat ... screwed up a chance to make a decent movie based on the series but instead CRAPPED all over it. Too bad...

This movie SUCKED -- it didn't live up to the series.. bo & luke were good o'l boys in the movie but Sean William Scott played Bo as an Idiot.... in fact both were. Boss Hogg was NOT skinny in the movie he was short and fat .. Rosco wasn't tall skinny & mean he was average height , stupid and would do everything that Boss would say ( so did his other deputies cletus and Enos ) .. the only good was Jessica Simpson was sexy as daisy ( btw daisy was a redhead ) & Willie fit as Jesse..

In defense of john11726 The movie did not fit with the original idea of The Dukes of Hazzard. I personally liked the movie but I see it for what it is, a movie with new cast and a new idea. It didn't keep the original idea only the original characters. It was a good movie but i think it would have been better if they would have stuck to the "family friendly" aspect of the original Dukes of Hazzard. Thats all I didn't like about it. It was a bit on the vulgar side. Not suitable for kids.
