This song, as pop and known/famous as it may be, its one of the most distinct blink songs... never have they sounded this sober and nostalgic and they probably didn't sound like that in the rest of that record, let alone the rest of their past albums... I wish it was not a single since it gets underappreciated that way, it ends up being a single in their career when it could have stayed a cult classic song o rmaybe it's just me... hope i made it justice with this cover.

Lyrics:

(I miss you...)
Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want
Where you can always find me
We'll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night we'll wish this never ends
We'll wish this never ends

(I miss you...)
(I miss you...)

Where are you and I'm so sorry
I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight
I need somebody and always
This sick strange darkness
Comes creeping on so haunting every time
And as I stared I counted
Webs from all the spiders
Catching things and eating their insides
Like indecision to call you
and hear your voice of treason
Will you come home and stop this pain tonight
Stop this pain tonight

Don't waste your time on me you're already
The voice inside my head (I miss you...)
Don't waste your time on me you're already
The voice inside my head (I miss you...)
[x3]

  • @Reddfin I tuned it half a step down, then went with C, B/Am (dunno the real name of that chord), Am, and then back to the B/Am chord... for teh choruses i did C, D, E, G, F, same as the bridges. The "solo" or "ïnterlude" or however u want to call it is the same progression as the verses but starting at Am and ending in the B/Am variation. thanks for commenting.

  • Very nice cover. By chance could you share the chords you used?
