I like the fuller tenor sound than in the previous productions. He actually sounds like a worthy partner, instead of Maria's teenage son! I am truly impressed with Devia's sense of pacing. This is the end of a long night of extremely difficult singing. You can hear that she's getting tired, but still, the intensity is there, the vocalism is still rock-solid, and she does not fail to give us that money note High-D, held till the cattle comes home. Now, thats what I'm saying! Go 'head!!!
