Calvert International Consulting produces this 30 Second TV ad for the School of Excellence, the largest charter school district in San Antonio, Texas and the second largest charter school district in the state of Texas. When faced with how to describe in 30 seconds all of the things that made the School of Excellence's Dr. Harmon Kelley Elementary rated an Exemplary Campus by the Texas Education Agency, it made for a difficult task for Calvert International Consulting. However, the agency picked up on the dynamic leadership of the school's principal and created this ad, fit for an educational star, staring principal Alma Garza. A shot clock goes up and its a race against time to tell the view what makes the school earn the top rating for a school. Ms. Garza emphasizes: discipline and manners while two students at a dining table demonstrate their manners at lunch by asking for the "Grey Poupon" a spoof on the 1980s commercial. Garza walks and runs fast between scenes and highlights the school's hands on learning, ability for parents to meet with teacher any time day or night, and the contract that the district makes between parents and teachers to help students succeed. The commercial ends letting viewers know that they can get a much slower tour by calling the School of Excellence. The ad is a modern day spoof on the commercial "Fast Paul" created by Northwoods Advertising for Senator Paul Wellstone.
