Marilyn Monroe pictures with the song "Teach Me, Tiger," a pre "Deep Purple" April solo hit record from 1959, was inspired by a very popular TV ad of the time for hair cream. In the ad, a pre-Get Smart Barbara Feldon rolled around on a tiger rug and growled, "Hi, Tiger!" to the camera. The sound was pre-Ginger, more Marilyn-Monroe-in-the-fifties.

When I hear this song, I think of Tiger Woods and his current PR.
I can imagine one of his mistresses singing this to him.

@Glizzzie Indeed it is April Stevens, Marilyn Monroe never recorded this song, though Stevens sounds somewhat similar in voice the music is not really the kind Monroe usually used. Monroe's music was more older jazz-like and/or larger orchestras like in Heat Wave and Two Little Girls From Little Rock.

I've read only April Stevens did this song, and it's often erroneously accredited to marilyn, but I'm sooooo confused. lol

true,true,the pictures are great! but I DONE SOME INVESTIGATING,AND APRIL STEVENS SINGS THE SONG!BUT MARILYN IS GORGEUS!!
