just saw ISS overhead for 5 minutes from South Jersey last night Aug 15, lucky cloud break during rainy weather. Amazing to see. I think that might be Pimlico Sound in NC at 4 minutes in. Gravity is the bending of space by a moving body
through it, larger the mass, more of the bending of space.

An orbit is a dance between gravity and centrifugal force. The high velocity around the body generates enough outward momentum to keep it in balance with the force of the earth's gravity tugging on it.
