IBO is fairly close, noise is very minimal and it's a very shoot-able bow. Arrow was a little over IBO but fairly close and I was shooting with a dloop and peep which might take off 4fps. I believe the monster xlr8 to be faster hands down but not close to as accurate or quiet.

  • No we care less about you're cheep targets. Bag targets are great. We can't understand how you say that is a great bow. It is loud, rough hard draw. With a huge hump. You can't creep with it. It has none. Hard to hold it back, it nearly ripped you're arms off. You was shaking like you had 300 pound bar bells in you're hands. and you traded it for a Mathews, which a Hoyt CRX which is rated at IBO 323. Shoots faster then the Mathews you traded for, has IBO of like 7-10 fps more. Then a Hoyt CRX.

  • @bluegrasssingingman it's a speed bow and it's a 2010 this years omen is differnt

  • @weseyedwalk yea, monsters are nice and easy to tune, hoyts are a little harder to tune but are soo much smoother then any of the bowtech's or mathews. Even the alphaburner I just ripped it apart and put new limbs cams strings and tuned it with my first qad full install on it. Went real easy suprisingly. there's so many good bows out there. my monster's risers got shot out and kept tuning further and further in it got ridiculous with my xlr8 so I had to dump it.

  • @jordyd19 thanks I was thinking about getting a Matthews monster, or a Bowtech Admiral, Hoyts are nice to. It's kind of a tough choice for me.

  • @weseyedwalk it's accurate, it's not a bad bow really, it's a harsh draw which creates more movement, but there's allot of good points to it. id get it at 60lbs though. it stores up so much energy on the draw that 70/80 means lost arrows ebcause you'll bury them. mathews, pse, bowtech will all explode if mishandled and hoyts won't. I could see hunting with it if I was in a corn field or prarie but I'm in the woods and speed doesn't mean shit there.

  • @jordyd19 Why? is it too hard to control or something? Too unforgiving? what is the reason?

  • @weseyedwalk no not for hunting i've know people who said you couldn't pay them to use an omen hunting look at earnhart sp? jr. he was in an ad. one time and i never saw him use one on a hunting vid.

  • Speed only means you can miss faster...and the way you shaking you'll be missing.

    SPEED ISNT EVERYTHING

  • That bow is loud, bad hump in draw. You had a heck of a time hold it back. Deer aren't blind and deaf. Shoot a real bow, Get Serious Get Hoyt.
