I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you were being sarcastic about the trendy thing (since that's my favorite part about Mew - their music from ten+ years ago still sounds very fresh and relevant)
If you've only heard random songs I would recommend not listening to b-sides and rare tracks first :) A few favorites of mine, in no particular order are: Cartoons and Macrame Wounds, She Came Home for Christmas, White Lips Kissed and 156.

Looking at the name itself and how 'Mew' is written out above... Roger Dean could probably do something graceful with that.
-- I've only heard a few Mew songs here and there... they seems pretty strange (which is a good thing). Nor do they seem much concerned w/ what's trendy (that's of course a bad thing! Big no-no.)

I can't find the song. Is it because my CD player or what? :s
Or is it only at the first version of the album?

THe last (instrumental) part of this song is really quite beautiful.
I love their secrets. All of their rare b-sides, their lyrics, even the new album has a secret on the first track.
