Ari Vatanen in the Peugeot 405 T16 climbing the pikes peak. Forget the name climb dance, it just sucks... and just skip the first minute, it has no sens. Just watch for the drifting.

  • Actually this IS "Climb Dance" and it is, in fact, Ari Vatanen making the Peugeot 405T16 dance while climbing the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Show me a drifter who can do a corner, with no barriers/guardrails, while going 150+kph, on gravel, one handed, as Ari does in this video. Yes, drifting looks cool, but compared to Group B rallying it's about as amazing as a Toyota Yaris stuck between 1st and Reverse being parked by an old lady. (no offence to old ladies)

  • .."Drifting"...?...drifting...This guy is DRIVING a car in a virtual state of grace setting a record which, as of quite recently, still stands. Shake your head, kid.

  • Cars have not drifted since skinny tires went away, 1964 - 1965.....

The stuff the weenies call drifting is pure BS..

Go drift Eau Rouge at Spa in a Maserati 250F

NOT a SIMM, which is also BS..

  • It's not "drifting" on DIRT fool!!

  • Fuck you moron...

  • Bug did not see that coming, at 2:50

  • Drift is flamboyance. Rally is speed. Get over it you twats.

  • @haloover The car weigh-balance is with out a shread of doubt 50/50. The car also employs 4-wheel-steering in-addition to a Torsen torque-split. This kind of a setup is _BALANCED_. Vatanen is even contiously slipping the damned clutch on the corners because the tires just don't have enough grip and he would drop out of boost. He enters a power-slide using a scandinavian flick, not by setting up an anvil in the back.

  • @haloover It's called a 'power-slide' not a damn drift. The whole point of a 'drift' is to last as long as possible and look as cool as possible. The point of a power-slide is to attain more traction for the corner exit, usually on gravel by means of a scandinavian-flick, not a over-sized hand-brake. Anyway this is about attaining maximum control on gravel and 'drifitng' is about burning rubber on tarmac. I can see the value in both. Gravel rally and drifting are like black and white.

  • @metonAlternate no im talking about the physics behind driving a car. if you just turn in you have loads of understeer, but if you set up weight transfer and put the car in a four wheel drift thats still Drifting. It fucking physics, people just get their panties in a bunch cause of how drifting has blown up. RALLY is always my favorite motorsport, drifting as a sport may be bollocks but as a style its amazing.
