@MissDJ: When you square a square root, your answer is what is under the square root. See all my videos on square roots and radicals. So I'm not squaring (x+2). I'm squaring "the sq root of (x+2)" which gives me x + 2.
i have a question.. when you square for example x-4, why don't you also square x+2.... throughout the problems you 'say you'll square both sides but you always end up squaring one... do you just do one side in your head or what.. im' confused
