Well, we are Dutch, but at the moment in CA and the shelter where we were volunteering is in Picayune, MS and adoptions over there were really BAD. We often had more dead cats than adopted ones. In Holland the adoptions are pretty good, fortunately.

Unfortunately not. Adoptions are DEAD slow in that area. :-(

No don't worry. Spaymart is a sanctuary and all cats will never get put down, unless they suffer. They will try to get them adopted and if not, they will stay in the sanctuary. Thanks for your concern!

Bloody heck?? that cat's named Betty too??? My orange tabby died about 4 years ago and she was named Betty Jo---spitting image of that cat!

It sure is amazing how identical some cats are. Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. That is the only bad thing animals do to us, when they pass away they give us so much sorrow.
