Few months ago I played the Demo version of "Star Trek: Bridge Commander" and found out it supposedly supports the voice recognition. Turns out the game comes with voice profile files for "Game Commander" and some other commercial voice control aplication. Trial versions of those turned out to be plain useless (GC supports only 3 active commands and due to a bug you can't change which one's are active). That's why I decided to make my own voice control application few days ago, when I finally got some free time.
The video was recorded on my brother's laptop, which has "Windows 7" OS installed. The application is simple to use and seems to work perfectly. However, I couldn't get it to work on my laptop, with "Windows XP" OS (even with "Microsoft Speech SDK5.1").
