Weekly Torah: Matot

"A tongue can accuse or carry bad news." Hank Williams sure said a mouthful with those lines. In truth, it was lashon hara -- an evil tongue -- which put Israel in exile and which kept Israel in the wilderness forty years. But on the flip side, our words, our vows, our oaths and our pledges, if uttered and honored with the proper respect and trust in HaShem, can lead us back to the promised land of Israel.

Open your eyes, the world is crumbling : the institutions, the markets, 3rd world war(everybody against Israel), inexplicable disasters on the rise, etc...

@Iubelo3333 Much of Chabad is mostly what you are going to become anyway as the Torah raises you up in awareness and everything. You might read the Tanya and be thinking parts of it already. It's some of the others that mix western and secular things that can not turn out so good. Like mixing Kabbalah with capitalism or Judaism with socialism. Using it for excuses. Taking advantage of others trust and morals in Religion and mix it with secular things for personal gain.
