It might surprise you to learn that the majority of college professors teaching in America today are adjunct instructors.

Adjuncts are more commonly known as part-time instructors at colleges. They have the exact same degrees as their tenured counterparts, the same qualifications and the exact same job requirements (*minus meetings), but they are paid considerably less, and in most cases receive little or no benefits.
