Me playing 'Esa niña' from Luis Miguel's 1988 album 'Busca una mujer', written by Juan Carlos Calderón. Musicians on the track:

JUAN CARLOS CALDERON - Arranging, Keyboards & Back. Vocals Arrangement
K. C. PORTER - Keyboards & Arranging
RANDY KERBER - Keyboards
JEFFREY PORCARO - Drums
DENNIS BELFIELD - Bass
PAUL JACKSON, JR. - Guitars
HOWARD "BUZZ" FEITEN - Guitars
ANTONIO MOLTO - Sax solo
LUIS MIGUEL - Background Vocals
ANDREA BRONSTON - Background Vocals
MARY JAMISON - Background Vocals

Well, kind of bad tempo on some of the parts, and some HH open/close thing missed too. Not too much feel on this take. For the rest, I think some breaks are OK. I'll try to upload some more songs soon and I hope you'll enjoy the video and come up with comments expressing your point of view. Thanks in advance.

  • Buen trabajo!

He visto tus vídeos: enhorabuena, buen groove.

  • Buenisimo!!! este tema es genial

  • by the way it's funny because you kinda look like one of luis miguel's drummers, I don't know what his name is but you can see him on any recent live video

  • I think you're playing everything very correctly, it's quite surprising how precise all your breaks are. I would suggest that you check out some of Weckl's latest advice on technique, because I think that by applying the moeller technique into your strokes , you'll make a much more expressive musical statement, especially while playing the main groove on the HH and snare.. In fact you might see how your body starts to express the music and the rythm even more if you do this. Congratulations!
