  • these expertvillage woodworking videos should be pulled off YouTube, every single one of them.

    this character doesn't say anything about putting the shank the correct depth into the collet,and doesn't point out that one of the worst things that can happen is for the shank to "bottom out" in the collet and then for the collet to be tightened.

    The correct procedure is to insert the shank as far as it will go, and then retract it by 1/16" before tightening the collet.
