there are no formulaic solutions of the kind offered up by new age gurus who are spinning yarns to begin with..Alan's telling the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth..once you 'see' it, you don't join a truth club and say: okay THIS is what WE do now..his point is the individual is stripped of all her illusions and is thrown back on her own devices; not on groupthink--what do 'we' do? No..what should 'i' do/how shld 'i' act on this?--and crucially that's a matter for each individual

i'd had a cuppla LARGE glasses of rose wine..not a big boozer so was a bit giddy..got carried away from what started out as an analogy but collapsed into a reminiscence..yes, this dark tunnel-p'haps you walk in & the further you go the darker it becomes since the light behind you diminishes to a pinprick then disappears..most ppl, AW seems to suggest turn back but those who persevere eventually see a pinprick of light ahead & move toward it coming out eventually into the sunlight--bit tenuous?
