Star Wars 501st Carida Mummers Philly 2008

Members of the Star Wars costuming group the 501st Legion Garrison Carida attended their 2nd year in the Philadelphia Mummers Day Parade. This is their 1st year as a Brigade for the Landis Comic Group which had given them national TV exposure. They march proudly down Broad Street. Greeting enthusiastic fan along the parade route and surprised everyone with a comedic skit which included Imperial Troopers dancing the Mummers Strut with umbrellas. They are now official Mummers from a Galaxy Far Far Away.
