@AstrophelTDeath Hi, With your Marshall DFX 30, I'd suggest setting the tone controls amp flat, all knobs at 12 o'clock to start with. Set all the tone controls on the pedal at 12 o'clock also, except for the gain and output. Set the gain and output at 10 o'clock. Using the clean channel on your amp, set the volume at 9 o'clock and turn the gain down as low as it will go without cutting volume to the amp. On your amp, set the bass, mid and presence to 10 o'clock. Try it now.

@jimdep1 The amp i'm using is a marshall mg series dfx 30. I just want to get a decent sound for purple haze and i can kinda of get that tone but it never seems right and i cannot find anything on the actual tones for that amp let alone any other amp. Just trying to figure it out, and have not had any luck with it, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

@AstrophelTDeath It has a lot to do with what kind of amp you are using. I have five different amps and the settings are all different to get the same tone.
