  • I will explain the lack of motivation in most workplaces. It's all a question of recognition and incentive. Most managers will take credit for other people's work and not give the lower employees recognition for their contributions. You can have an employee who busts his/her ass for 20 years and never gets any formal acknowledgement, but another person who kisses butt all day gets an award.

Another issue is opportunities. If you don't promote from within, there is no incentive.

  • I bet this lady would be a bitch to work for.

  • Most Managers use the least effective form of management which is punishment. My manager just told my co-workers and I that if we can't do are job there are millions of people waiting to take it. They always use that "economy is bad" mess to scare employees!!!

  • just hire a manager who is NOT a problem causing, back stabbing snake. its that simple

  • @wvd1979 exactly, managers are a bunch of wolves. especially if they micromanage. just try to do your best

  • @grahamzx9r

I say the glass is at 50%.

  • Never understood the half glass analogy, because it depends on whats in the glass. If my doctor gives me a glass of nasty tasting medicine, and after a few mouthfulls he asks have you drunk it yet? If i reply "its half empty" then I am being very positive

  • Sounds to me that its just an indirect way of saying, "Do your work, or fuck off".... :D
