thing is..he IS hitting the exact strings..not just "random"...that's how you CAN do it..but I want to play it exactly how he does it..there is a real definition to it.but I seen him do it live and heard it on the album and there is a pattern of exactness too it and THAT is what I want to learn!???

@jamesadalton Hey, glad you liked it. I shot this with a Sony HDR-HC9 and used a magic arm with clamp to attach it to the guitar. I edited in Final Cut Pro.

Spectacularly well done.
Just a question on the picking. How are you doing that? Are you just dragging it across the strings and thinking about which "ranges" of strings you'll hit? Or are you hitting specific strings? It's really hard and I'm totally unsure how to do that technique. Sounds great though.
