Sukhoi Su-25 - Macedonia 2001

The Sukhoi Su-25 in a video compilation during the war in Macedonia in 2001. Four were purchased by Macedonia from Ukraine during the war in 2001 against albanian terrorists from kosovo.

When the albanian terrorists crossed the mountainous border into Macedonia with donkeys, the local police stations and military patrols began being targeted by mines, gunfire, and ambushes. The Macedonian government signed cooperation agreements with the Ukrainian government, who agreed to supply us with heavy weapons, artillery, tanks, helicopters, and fighter jets.

The Su-25 fighter jets were used to observe the situation in the village of Aracinovo (near Skopje), and were also used to bomb terrorists during a nightly mission in the village of Radusa, between Skopje and Tetovo.
