Visit famous Hopewell Rock and take a walk on the ocean floor during low tide. Then watch as just six hours later those same footprints you created in the sand are buried under 14 metres (48 feet) of water. Visit http://www.romwell.com/travel/advisory/index.shtml for more info...

  • @TomBrooklyn if u want to see a live web cam of the tides cheek the halls harbor web cam online

  • I've seen time lapse video of the tides at this spot and at high tide the water reaches a bit more than halfway up that hole in the rock nearest your camera. I figure that by comparison to the height of people walking there to be about a 12 foot lift. How are you figuring 48 feet?

  • Hi Romwellcom, great video! The dramatic tides of New Brunswick create some truly breathtaking and surreal landscapes. This video would be great for the Canada’s Got Treasures collection, which aims to feature Canadian videos of personal or cultural significance. Help celebrate Canadian diversity by joining our YouTube group (/group/TresorTreasure) and submitting your video. It would be made available on our channel and website.
