good catch, but i think the reason you had such a hard fight is becasue you had a light pole and reel. a 7 foot star rod would have brought him up faster

Put that on a Boga and it will weigh in at less than 30 lbs. but a nice fish. When I come back to earth as a fish, I hope I'm a Jack Crevelle. They are an awesome fish and I never mind running into them while Snook or Tarpon Fishing. Nice Video/

what a hog!!! Wife and I pulled a 27 and 21 pounders today just north of sebastian inlet. Hell of a fight!!! Kudos for a 40 pounder! Some tarpon rolling around a few of the jack schools too, but didn't get one.

Wow dude, I just starting fishing for the first time last month near Cedar Island portion of New Smyrna (Surf Fishing), been doing ok, but this catch just had to be a highlight for your day, camera man was good also, lol
