@GalaxyHorse Sadly, this would be one of the last tours for Ben with Neil. He died of a heart attack in 2010, at the age of 73; perhaps ironically, practicing for the nest tour with Neil. A fixture in Nashville he was an "old man" when he joined forces with Neil on "Harvest" in 1971. They'd been together off & on ever since. For those who don't know, banjo picker Larry Cragg has a day job as Neil's long suffering guitar tech. He's tried to rebuild "Old Black" for years & Neil just won't let him.

@Bohacification You live your life to help fill in the spaces of his dreams, until your dreams are reveled to you from the seeds he planted long ago for you! Time to look for the everything you think is not there, he left you surprises you have not seen...

This song makes me think of my mom who passed recently. She loved this song.

30 years later and he still sounds exactly the same...

@bones69u I know how you feel, except with my grandpa. Long story short, I can't live without him. When he died 2 years ago, it tore my heart out. I just can't do this without him. I don't feel alive anymore...and I'm only 17. Other things in my life are a burden enough, and then that happens...I've basically lost everything.

Quite sure that's the late great Ben Keith on peddle steel here. Fabulous.
