A comedic sketch about the West Nile virus... Although viruses are not really funny, the hype they can create is.
*Update*
This video was originally filmed as a response to a large number of pamphlets on various dangerous ailments that could afflict students (including west nile) that were landing on our desks. I believe it was filmed back in 2005.
The video should be viewed as a commentary on the 'culture of fear' this can create, especially in young people.
It was not written to make fun of the virus itself, or people who have been affected by the virus.
I would encourage everyone to take the necessary steps in their region to protect themselves and others from the West Nile Virus.
as a paralized west nile patient, I find this to be done in bad taste. protect your self and children, and pray you never have the virus.

Rtjeff - I am sorry to hear of your misfortune. This video is/was not created to make light of people who have been affected by the West Nile Virus.
It was a highschool project done as a social commentary on the mass distribution of literature in our highschool which, at the time, was seen as promoting a 'culture of fear'. It seemed that every other day notices were landing on our desks of things that were going to hurt us.

The point of this video, aimed at students at my highschool, was for them not to panic - take the outlined precautions, but not be afraid of something they can't control.
I would encourage people to take the necessary prevention steps for their region.
