[Update: Koa passed away on February 9th, 2012 just two months shy of his 14th birthday. I miss him more than words can ever express...He was my best friend, my playmate, my confidante, my constant companion and so much more. He gave me more love than I will ever deserve to receive, and made me laugh like no one else could. My world is emptier without him.....but all I can do now is keep living, keep his memory alive, and pray that one day we'll be together again. I love you Koa, now and forever, my gentle guardian angel. ]




This is the special dedication video I've been working on for months. I finished it last night and thought, Thanksgiving is a great day to post it.

Thank you God for the 12 years and counting you've given me with my best friend. We've been together since I was nine years old and I can't imagine life without him. I know that day will come, but I pray that it isn't for a very long time. Whenever it's here though, I know I can't complain. I've had more time with my angel on earth than most people get. I'm thankful for each moment I have with him, and though you really couldn't care about this video Koa lol, it's for you :) You're the best boy in the world.

I had my dog, Tracey from the time I was 4 years old until I was 21. He was with me at every graduation from kindergarten to college. He was there with me when I met my fiancé and he was there when I moved into my first house. Dogs are far more than meets the eye. They're are friends, protectors, and family.
